Halloween Night, Part One Mon, October 25 2004 - 12:56 AM by: Justin |

Since I don't want to still be making Halloween comics after Halloween, I'm going to try to do a "bonus" update between now and Friday, probably on Wednesday.
I finished this comic early today, thinking I'd get an early start on the next comic, but that's just not how things work. Tomorrow I have to wake up a couple hours earlier than usual. I've complained in the past about my shoulder pain. Well, for the past few weeks, or months, my right wrist and strangely, my right big toe have been hurting off and on. So I'm getting my blood drawn tomorrow morning to find out once and for all what the hell is wrong with me. Which reminds me, I've got to fast for eight hours before I go, which of course means I have to gorge for two hours before I sleep.
Let the feasting commence!

Action Packed Mon, October 25 2004 - 11:42 AM by: Patrick |

It's that time of the quarter again, the long awaited and much feared midterm season. Posted signs and notices all around campus permit the hunting and shooting of midterms at students' discretion - apparently for the next few weeks midterms are considered open game. Circumstances have aligned in my favor and I've avoided the perils of studying and prepping for any of said exams up until this point, but all good things eventually terminate and in short order I'll be taking my first shot at one of those annoying tests myself. With any luck, I'll have my way with one midterm on Wednesday and two next week. I guess I'd better start stretching, 'cause I'm about to see a lot of action.
At some point last week our month long advertisement on The Webcomic List expired, which was something Justin and I had been dreading for quite some time. We thought it might put an end to a golden age of visitors and mild recognition, but thankfully that hasn't been the case. We've continued to see a fair amount of first time and returning visitors alike, numbers that are comparable to the kind we saw during the ad's run. Our comic has even remained in The Webcomic List's top ten, which is awesome. We still can't spend our days relaxing in a hot tub whilst drinking champagne and wearing Speedos as I'm sure we'd both enjoy, but we're starting to make a decent progression towards that ultimate goal. I guess what I'm trying to say is: thank you for continuing to visit our site, we're extraordinarily appreciative of all the readers that we have.
